1) Discussed OSM's recent changes in detail.

2) Concluded discussion on Next Generation Leader.
Book seemed to be very applicable to everyone. Lots of participation and take-aways.

Interesting note: Andy Stanley suggests not using the word "coach" when asking someone to coach you; it's too intimidating and no one will every think he/she is worthy. pg 124

While in the book Exponential, Ferguson suggests using the word "coach."

Ironic ;-)

Assignment:
Solicit specific feedback from your dept supervisor on how you are doing. Share your feedback in Feb 16 huddle.

Field Trip to Kokomo YMCA; CEO Dave Dubois

This was a profound and poignant experience. Dave did a wonderful job telling his story of how he went from an unbeliever to a devout follower of Jesus. His transparency, vulnerability and candor were gifts to us.

Very inspiring to see a man who didn't think much of Christians--a self-made man; now being used by God to influence many people for Christ in our community. And now a man humbly standing on the strength of Christ.

Please join us in praying for Dave as he leads the Y and his influence in his family and in the community.
